In the final quarter of 2020, Brazil's iOS platform saw noteworthy activity in the Film & Television category. Data provided by Sensor Tower gives us a closer look at the performance of the top applications in this segment. Here's how they fared during this period.

Disney+ experienced a significant spike in revenue in the week of November 23, reaching over $500K, followed by a drop and another rise to nearly $380K in the week of December 21. Downloads began at a high of over 1.3M in mid-November, before gradually declining to 178K by the year's end. Weekly active users peaked at over 1.1M in the third week of November and saw a slight rebound to over 1M after a dip in mid-December.

Netflix showed more consistency in revenue, with the highest point at roughly $94K in early December and the lowest at approximately $73K at the end of December. Downloads saw an upward trend, culminating at 113K in the last week of December. Active users for Netflix demonstrated a significant increase, starting at around 4.4M at the end of September and rising to nearly 4.9M by the close of December.

Amazon Prime Video did not generate revenue during this period, but it maintained a steady flow of downloads, with a notable peak of 75K in mid-November. Active users showed minor fluctuations, with a high of 378K in the same week and a low of 328K in mid-December, before ending the year with over 350K active users.

Globoplay: Novelas, séries e + also had a notable presence, with revenue hitting a high of nearly $280K in mid-October and a low of around $156K at the year's end. The app's downloads peaked at 34.5K in mid-November, while weekly active users saw a high of over 713K in the same period, before declining to around 678K in late December.

Lastly, Rave - Watch Party, which did not generate revenue, had its highest number of downloads, over 15K, in mid-November. Its active users peaked at 127K in the same week but saw a slight decline to 113K by the end of December.
